Dr. Sidlowski has been practicing in Annapolis for 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola College in Maryland. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery.
After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through the University of Florida, she became an associate at Chesapeake Family Dentistry. In 2008, she purchased the practice. Dr. Sidlowski is an active member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, Molis Invisalign Coaching and Study Club. She is an Invisalign provider and certified in Botox and facial injectables. She participates in numerous hours of continuing education each year.
Dr. Sidlowski also serves on the foundation at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Dr. Sidlowski resides in Anne Arundel County with her husband, Mike, and two daughters, Julie and Lauren. When not in the office, she loves spending time with her family, shelling at the beach, and cheering on her favorite football teams-the Baltimore Ravens and the University of Alabama.
A Maryland native, Dr. McCarthy attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She then returned to Maryland to complete her dental degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry before furthering her training with a general practice residency at the Baltimore VA Medical Center.
Dr. McCarthy is an Invisalign provider and certified in Botox and facial injectables. She has been a Spear Study Club member for many years and remains an active member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Anne Arundel County Dental Society. Dr. McCarthy’s continued advancement in the dental profession is derived from a passion to help people and provide the best care to her patients.
When Dr. McCarthy is not working or seeking continuing education, she can usually be found on the boat with her husband, Mike or cheering on Penn State football.

Dr. McCarthy and the entire staff at Chesapeake Cosmetic & Family Dentistry are absolutely the BEST! Dr. McCarthy is extremely professional, has a wonderful personality and what is even better is that she is an EXCELLENT DENTIST! I got veneers to eliminate a front gap and she did a fantastic job; so good that I cannot tell that I have veneers. I am very pleased with the end result. I highly recommend CC&FD for your dental care. They really do wonderful work and are very meticulous in their treatment and care.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sidlowski and her team for over 20 years. I recently moved 2 1/2 hours away and have been to 3 different dentists trying to find something equal. I’m now contemplating traveling the 100 miles to get back to what I believe is the best practice in the state of Maryland!!
Finally the search has ended! Dr. Sid is excellent and she has a great sense of humor. Her staff is also excellent. The practice runs like a well-oiled machine. Everyone has been briefed before opening and when you arrive they all know you’re coming and know why you are there.In addition, the practice has invested in state-of-the-art equipment which makes procedures accurate and one and done...no back and forth to adjust. Just an excellent dental practice !!!
